Welcome to the P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Museum's World Wide Web Site. Encompassing the activities of the various museums that make the P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. a truly international institution, this site represents the latest manifestation of Pamura Umetessi's original intentions in creating a foundation for "the promotion and encouragement and education in art and the enlightenment of the public."
The core collection of the P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Museum is built around artists from the early and middle twentieth century, whose work and life expressed the joy and wonder of new realms of thought and experience articulated through a revolutionary language. Some eighty years later, the breathtaking creativity of the World Wide Web's multi-dimensional character is a kindred spirit to these artists' vision of a universal form of visual expression. Thus, it is an ideal forum through which the P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. can develop and expand its audience.
